Internet access

Simple Punjabi works fully offline. The app does not need an internet connection to function. The in-app About panel may include a link to external websites (for example, Wikipedia). Opening those links is optional and governed by those sites' policies.

Text-to-speech

Optional audio uses Apple's built-in text-to-speech on your device. The app does not record or transmit your voice. The app does not use the microphone.

Does the app need the internet?

No. It works fully offline after installation.

Is this Gurmukhi script?

No. All prompts and answers use English letters (roman script). The app focuses on speaking and understanding Punjabi.

Where is my progress saved?

On your device only. Deleting the app clears your progress.

Which dialect of Punjabi?

The course is closest to Malwai Punjabi from Eastern Punjab.
